Sweet Oats

Dates are the star ingredient in this recipe, making a regular oat porridge into something extraodinary and nutritious for babies and the other members of the family as well!

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons rolled oats
  • 1/2 apple, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 2 dates

Preparation

  1. Cook the oats and the apple together until oats are fully expanded and translucent, about 20 minutes.
  2. Once the heat is turned off, add the dates and let them soften a little in the hot mixture.
  3. Let cook cool a little, then blend until smooth and creamy and serve.
