These oat burgers are easy and fast to cook. You can freeze them and heat them up when needed. You can also make them gluten-free using gluten-free oats.
Ingredients
4 cups of water.
1/2 cup of soy sauce.
1/4 cup of olive oil (optional).
1 cup pecan meal.
1/4 cup of nutritional yeast flakes.
2 teaspoons of garlic powder.
1 tablespoon of dried basil.
2 teaspoons of onion powder.
1 teaspoon of bacon seasoning (optional but adds flavor).
1 teaspoon of coriander powder.
1 teaspoon of sage powder.
4 cups of quick oats (use gluten-free oats for gluten-free version).
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 F / 180 C
In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients.
In a big pot, boil water and add soy sauce and olive oil.
Add the dry ingredients and stir till thick, cooking for 3 minutes.
On a non-sticky pan or parchment paper form burgers.
